Size 1 & Size 2: Stretchy Cotton Jersey T-Shirt style fabric Snood/Gaiter for people with sensory needs - see below for measurements and more details.
Size 3-5: Neck Warmer/Snood/Gaiter - for everyone - not especially designed for chewing, but can be chewed if you wish! This is designed to gently stretch over the head, and be worn over the neck and face. Choose size carefully if you would like it to stay up snugly over your nose!

CHEW CHOOBZ Sensory Aid...
Do you, your child or young person chew or suck their shirt collar when seeking sensory regulation? Are they damaging and soaking their clothing, perhaps causing sore skin and greater sensory discomfort?
I have adapted my popular fleecy Neck Warmers to offer a practical alternative.
Simply stretch over the head like putting on a t-shirt. The Chew Choob sits comfortably around the neck - not tight, but not hanging loose.
Size 1 is ideal for children under approximately 10 years - see pic for example of the fit on a 9 year old. PLEASE NOTE, NOT RECOMMENDED FOR UNDER 4 YEARS.
Size 2 is ideal for children aged approximately 10 years and above and adults, although some younger children prefer this size as it is wider.
For the self conscious, I have chosen a variety of fabrics, from the cool and full of personality, to the sensible shades to tone in with uniform. I am always open to custom fabric requests, just Contact Seller.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
When it gets too soggy, wash it at 30°c and pop a fresh one on. Hang to dry naturally.
These have passed the chew test with my collar-chewing model!
Made with soft, cotton, pre-washed, T-Shirt style fabrics, they are ready to use immediately.
SEAMS: There is a machine serged seam, and a few cm of concealed hand stitching, which will look neater if placed inside the Chew Choob. For longer life, it's best to avoid chewing the seams, although the machine stitching is very strong and secure. The handstitched section will always be vertical when worn, within the seam where the DevonMade label is placed.
